Celebrating (Christian) Eros is a unique space for thoughtful, adult (or, at least, mature) reflection and conversation on matters at the intersections of sexuality and faith.

You won’t find visual or written materials here intended to arouse anything but the mind, your curiosity, and your theological imagination. (The rest will follow.)

When I recommend and link to useful resources restricted to or only intended for adults, I will let you know.

For Youth and Young Adults

For those not yet legal adults (and those seeking resources to help them grow into healthy adults), I recommend the thoughtful, age‑appropriate, science‑based, comprehensive information about human sexuality and relating (including dating tips) at Scarleteen, the The Trevor Project, and BISH (14+).

I’ve found their rich, nuanced, and accessible information helpful even for me as an adult. These resources are intentionally designed to fill the holes in an ideologically‑constrained, science‑denying sex education system which is usually the only taxpayer‑funded resource on healthy relating and sexuality available to most students in the United States.

I’m grateful for their work.

They deserve our advocacy and support.
